This Instagram infographic carousel highlights the popularity of acoustic guitars among young Americans and the reasons why amateur musicians play acoustic over other types of guitars.

 

I researched, compiled information, and designed the infographics. When researching, I found that a major factor for acoustic guitar popularity is approachability. Many players develop their skills on acoustic and then branch out to other types of guitars. Because of this, I wanted the infographic to feel approachable too. I incorporated wood texture, guitar illustrations, and data visualization charts to guide viewers through the information and effectively educate them about acoustic guitar usage.
